As an integral member of the team contributing to the transformative redevelopment project at Toronto SickKids’ campus, we are thrilled to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery. Our involvement encompasses the design of a significant artistic installation – a "light wall" positioned strategically behind the main reception desk in the lobby of the Patient Support Centre (PSC) tower, slated for its grand opening in 2023.
In this significant undertaking, my role played a crucial and instrumental part in contributing to the design and development of the "light wall" at Toronto SickKids' Patient Support Centre tower. As an essential member of the team, my responsibilities included the creation of compelling visual narratives and the utilization of LED programming to ensure the seamless realization of this impactful and aesthetically significant installation. I am proud to have played a key role in shaping the artistic vision of this re-imagined hospital space.
I earnestly aspire that the LED wall we are designing becomes a source of joy for the patients, imparting a sense of happiness and bringing smiles to their lips. May this artistic creation contribute positively to the healing environment of Toronto SickKids' Patient Support Centre, enhancing the overall well-being and comfort of those within its care.
Currently immersed in the design development phase, our objective is to conceive a visually striking and experientially compelling artwork. The envisioned "light wall" will not only serve as a noteworthy aesthetic feature but will be dynamically brought to life through LED programming, fostering a serene yet playful ambiance within the space.
In this collaborative endeavor, we extend our gratitude to esteemed partners who contribute to the realization of this impactful project:
