We proudly showcased Canada's narrative at Expo 2020 in Dubai, orchestrating an immersive odyssey that guided visitors through the nation's rich history, dynamic present, and promising future. Situated at the core of the national pavilion, our media experience was a 360-degree spectacle seamlessly integrating film, motion graphics, lighting, and an original score, capturing the essence of a nation's spirit.
I executed the animation of lights, incorporating color, intensity, and shapes meticulously in Maya, to emulate a digital twin representation of the space for our advertising purposes.
The success of EXPO was a collaborative achievement, with vital contributions from our esteemed partners EllisDon, Electrosonic, and EOS Media. Central to our vision was the incorporation of Indigenous perspectives. In this endeavor, we were privileged to collaborate with Petal Furness, an Indigenous storyteller and cultural liaison, whose guidance enabled a spotlight on Indigenous artists, composers, and performers.
Renowned artists Cris Derksen and DJ Shub collaborated with our partner company Hadron to compose an original piece, incorporating distinctive contributions from Indigenous throat singers. This project not only showcased Canada's story but also celebrated the rich diversity of Indigenous voices.
